"Getting Ready for High School and Beyond"

Greetings Home Educators!

If you are approaching the high shcool years, you may be asking the
following questions:

* Am I prepared for the challenge of home schooling my child through
high school?
* Do I need assistance to compile and create a transcript?
* What about diplomas?

To be equipped, participate in this seminar designed to prepare home school
parents and their teens to go the distance. Each family receives a resource
notebook. The speaker is Barbara Mesh who will enthusiastically encourage
and equip you to tackle the high school years.

Praise Home Schoolers (PHS) is hosting "Getting Ready for High School and
Beyond" on Saturday, October 6, 2007, 9:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. at Peace River
Baptist Church, 478 Berry Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. This day-long
workshop will cover legal issues, curriculum choices, goal setting, record
keeping, establishing credits, apprenticeship and vocational training, and
getting ready for college.

A 50+ page notebook with sample and blank transcript forms, suggested
resources, and relevant Internet sites is included. Please bring a
three-ring binder in which to place the resource packet. You may bring your
own lunch or purchase one at a nearby fast food restaurant. Download a
